Arsenal willing to put €50m on the table to sign 23-year-old forward

There has been a lot of change that has happened with Arsenal this season but one aspect that has not changed a lot are the transfer rumors.

While some of them are a little hard to believe, others seem much more credible. One such report in Telefoot has the Ivory Coast winger Nicolas Pepe, who the Gunners are interested in bringing to the Emirates.

The deal to bring the player would be in the region of €50m as he is considered to be one of the hottest young prospects playing in the French League. Pepe who plays for LOSC Lille has been one of their top performers this season.

This form that the winger has shown has not gone unnoticed by many of the top clubs in Europe as there is a significant amount of interest in Pepe.

It is known that the Gunners could do with the signing of a winger especially as they do not have anyone at the moment who is well suited to playing there.

The style of play that manager Unai Emery has brought to the club is one that focuses on a lot on counter attacks and the pace that Pepe has will be a real asset for that.

Though Pepe is left footed he is very comfortable playing on the right-hand side and this is where Arsenal do need some form of reinforcement.

For Arsenal to be successful in capturing Pepe, they will have to beat off competition from the likes of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. But, if they do manage to pull it off, they will be getting one of the best young players in Europe at the moment.

The January transfer window is not very far away so there is every possibility that we will be seeing some sort of movement regarding this deal.

The Gunners will have to act fast in their quest to sign Pepe and that is sure to make the fans happy. Let us wait and see what happens.
