After a disappointing season, Arsene Wenger is committed to rebuilding the squad as he aims to mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title next season after missing out on it in the last  12 years.

If we go by the reports in the social media then the pics have been leaked by his brother on his snap chat. With these pictures are likely to announce the deal anytime now.

What really will Xhaka bring to the Emirates and why are the fans excited at the news of him becoming an Arsenal player?

Xhaka is a natural box-to-box midfielder and highly defensive too. He is versatile and resilient, just what we needed at the centre.

His passing accuracy, which averaged 85 per cent last season, ariel duels and ball interception are on the high side, per whoscored.com.

Our midfield has lacked the depth and quality expected of it in the last few seasons and this has contributed to the team’s usual collapse at crucial times of the season.

And with the signing of Xhaka, the midfield would be re-energize.

The Switzerland international’s talent can not be under-estimated. His emergence in the Bundesliga for Borussia Monchengaldbach-since his move from Swiss club Basel in 2012- has not gone unnoticed. He has been at the centre of his club resurgence recently, including their top-four finish.

Though he doesn’t really has an eye for goal, he has the ability to read the game, control it and pick a pass.

A combination of Xhaka and Cazorla in the middle, before the defence and behind the attacking trio of Alexis Snachez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi will stabilize the midfield, enabling Ozil and Sanchez to concentrate more on the attack.

The 23-year-old won two Swiss super league title and a Swiss Cup, and was voted Young Player of the Year in 201 before his move to Monchengladbach that year. He was part of the team that won the U17 World Cup in Nigeria in 2009 and finished as runner-up in EURO U21 in 2011.

He made his senior debut for the Swiss national team aged 18. His former national team boss Ottmar Hitzfield called him “young Bastian Schweinsteiger”.The Swiss international as per Squawka in the Bundesliga has scored three goals this season, creating 22 chances and one assist. Granit Xhaka has completed 1831 passes this season with a pass accuracy of 85%, of which 81% were forward passes.
