Arsenal fans react furiously on Twitter after getting outclassed by Liverpool

Arsenal slumped to another opening defeat after being outclassed 4-3 by an inspired Liverpool side at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

The North London club started the game brightly and dominated for the most part of the first half after scoring mid-way through the first half before the Reds found the back of the net to equalize in the final minutes of the opening half.

The restart didn’t bring many smiles as Liverpool continued their relentless attack on Arsenal albeit some poor defending from the Gunners.

Within no time the Reds leapfrogged into a 3-goal lead around the hour mark and as if that wasn’t enough Ramsey was taken off after the Welshman went down to the ground in what seemed to be an injury.

Wenger did respond and brought on Cazorla and Chamberlain which gave Arsenal more impetus going forward and the Emirates club did manage to pull two goals back to make it 3-4 but weren’t able to find the 4th goal.

It isn’t the end of the world, as the Gunners did show some fight but at this level, you cannot be mediocre even for few minutes and the team should know that. I guess this defeat will force Wenger’s hand in bringing some defensive cover and a striker.

Arsenal fans reacted furiously to the defeat and here are some reactions from Twitter:

Fans take notice of the poor second half performance.

Some fans seem to have found the cheerful side of the defeat.

Same old movie for some.

Twitter trending is not always positive.

Mertesacker as a striker. Strict NO
