28-year-old officially confirms decision on Arsenal future has already been made

Chile international Alexis Sanchez has insisted that he has made his mind up where he would be playing next season, although he did not reveal the club.

The 28-year-old is attracting interest from both Bayern Munich and Manchester City this summer though the former appeared focused on spending their cash on younger players.

At the moment, the Citizens look the most likely destination for Sanchez, should he leave north London, and when asked on the same, he admitted that he is clear with his mindset, but refused to disclose the club, he told Sky Sports: “Yes it’s clear but I can’t tell you.”

Meanwhile, the Chilean was also questioned whether he could play alongside compatriot Claudio Bravo next season, but he refused to give anything away. He added: “Good question. Right now I’m focused on the Confederations Cup. When this is finished I will see if I stay or if I go. I don’t know.”

Sanchez is due to hold talks with the Gunners’ hierarchy following the Confederations Cup final against Germany, and it is suggested that the attacker will push for a reunion with Pep Guardiola, although it won’t be favourable with manager Arsene Wenger.

Wenger has previously hinted that he would risk for the final year of his contract, but the significant transfer sum on offer could tempt the north London club to sell to a direct league rival this summer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal appear to have closed in on the signing of Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette with BBC journalist David Ornstein tweeting that the club are in advanced negotiations for the France international.
