Wolfsburg attacker Julian Draxler could make a move to Arsenal in the upcoming transfer window, according to his agent.

The German international is currently considering offers from both Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain after it was confirmed that he would be leaving the Wolves in the New Year.

Draxler, 23, joined the Wolves from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2015, and was impressive for both club and country during the previous campaign.

His performances had therein captured the attention of the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal in the summer, but the Wolves made sure they kept hold of his services against his will.

Since then, the World Cup winner has failed to live up to his abilities, and it was not until he knew of his potential departure did he step up his game for the Bundesliga outfit.

According to The Mirror, the attacker will have a pick between the Gunners and Les Parisiens next month with former admirers Juventus no longer keen on his signature.

Nothing is done, Julian is hesitating between PSG and Arsenal. For the moment, he is thinking,” his agent was quoted as saying in the Mirror (via Le Parisien).

“A decision will be made in the coming days. One thing is certain, he has played his last match for Wolfsburg.

The Old Lady had previously pursued Draxler when he was at Schalke 04, but they have switched their attention elsewhere with a deal for James Rodriguez from Real Madrid looking a distinct possibility.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has always been a huge admirer of the German forward, but there is still the question mark as to whether the Frenchman would pay the player’s £34m asking price in full next month.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Alex Iwobi have shared the duties on the left side of the attack this season, and the arrival of Draxler is unlikely to be benefit the former, who is fighting for his future in North London.
